Hi,

They are usually on the side of the engine with either a yellow or black screw off cap. Try getting a haynes manual as this will save a lot of heartache %26amp; also money when it comes to fixing the little jobs(try ebay or halfords for one) or get a book just about fixing any motorcycles.

Best of luckWhere is the oil resevoir and dipstick on a Yamaha MBK Thunder 125 scooter?
is it an automatic ? if so look under seat for a seperate oil filler like the petrol one if its a 2 stroke?
firstly i'm pretty sure its a 4 stroke so no oil mixture. secondly when you say top up the oil, do you mean engine oil. if so it is on the oil filler cap at the side of the engine, sitting on the sump(looks like a square bowl with fins) unscrew it you will see the dip stick (no jokes were adults) clean it put it back in and then remove, do not do this with the engine running and if it has been running let it settle for 20 minutes. there are two marks, min, max. if it is below the min then my advice would be to drain the oil replace the filter and then top back up with a good quality oil, the most expensive you can afford. the reason for that is you just inheritted it, when was it last done and how nmany miles since. becareful not to over fill as this could blow your seals (god there are so many one liners for this)

hope this helps.
